Premier URLs sells premium domains. What is a premium domain name?
A premium domain name is a domain name that has a higher commercial value. They are typically shorter in length, brandable, distinctive, and contain popular key words. A domain name is an investment and the value of premium domains tends to increase over time.
Why reserve a domain name? What happens after the hold period?
Buying a premium domain is an important decision. Individuals and organizations may need additional time before completing their purchase. Some reasons to reserve a name include: to continue your search while having a backup, to gain approval from your organization, and to finish pre-launch tasks. Once a hold expires, the domain will go back in the marketplace if it was not purchased.
What is a Premier URL search request?
This is a free service that we provide to help you find a premium domain name you love, when you do not see one already listed in the marketplace. To learn more about making a request, scroll above or click here. We try to accommodate all requests, but if denied you will receive an email with an explanation.
Are .com domain names always the best? Should I consider buying another available extension?
Domain names that have the .COM extension are still the most popular and rightfully so, being the original extension for all internet websites.
However, we suggest you use your own judgment about what is "best". Clients typically prefer the best reasonable match, regardless of the extension. For example, if your business name is 1Z3 Store and you are unable to find any .COM, that is close to your name or branding. Then you may be excited to discover that 1Z3.STORE is available.
Truthfully as time passes, it will become increasingly harder to find good names despite the extension.
How long does it take for the domain ownership transfer to be completed?
Once your payment has been received and processed, the transfer will be initiated within 1-2 business days. Instructions will be sent to you on how to complete the transfer. The complete transfer process usually happens within 2-5 days, depending on the domain registrar.
Why do you charge a fee for reserving a premium domain name?
A fee is charged to deter any individual or organization from keeping a premium domain off the market with no intention of making a purchase. The fee varies based on the current sales price to ensure potential clients are placing valid holds. We also use the fees to cover any necessary updates that will need to be made to the site, advertising, and/or documents.
Can you suggest a hosting company?
There are several hosting companies to choose from and we work with many of them, so we're unable to make specific recommendations. Individuals and organizations tend to have different needs and finding the best fit will vary. If you do a search online, you can find articles talking about the different hosting companies and their services.
I heard you have a VIP service for special clients. What is this and how can I access this service?
